Typescript and doctoral dissertation. The revised and annotated typescript is an incomplete version of Kemble's book, THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES OF QUANTUM MECHANICS (1937). The doctoral dissertation, "Studies in the Application of the Quantum Hypotheses to the Kinetic Theory of Gases and to the Theory of their Infra-red Absorption Bands" (1917), is a carbon copy of the work submitted to Harvard University; also included are photocopies of the graphs used in his dissertation.
